Michelle Wheeler


Michelle was born in WNY, but moved to Erie 15 years ago. Michelle found her passion for teaching after years of feeling frustrated in the gym. Her method is based around empowering women through mindful movement. With a nutrition background and numerous fitness certifications, Michelle has created a sustainable approach for women to look and feel their best.

Robin Caruna


Robin is an Erie native, University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy grad and has a combined 40 years of experience in hospital, retail and nursing home pharmacy. Robin enjoys all things health and fitness, especially relating to achieving a long healthy lifespan. Robin was a long time student that turned her passion for fitness into teaching.

Michelle Beckman


Michelle has an extensive background in the fitness space. She was a recreational gymnast for 10 years, a competitive gymnast for 5 and later coached gymnastics for 4 years. She grew up taking a variety of dance classes including ballet, tap and hip hop. Michelle has always been drawn to group exercise classes which led her to becoming a Zumba instructor. Her passion for fitness has evolved, she’s enjoyed creating a personal weight training program and has established a wellness program at her full time employer to promote health and wellness for employees. Throughout her fitness journey, she has fallen in love with barre as it provided a great combination of all the things she loved! Michelle is a certified barre instructor and her experience and passion will undoubtedly be an asset to Sweat.
